You teach English every day.
But is teaching English the same as using English?
Most days, your English is instructions, praise, simplified explanations. Great for your learners’ English – but not so much for yours.
So where do you get to think aloud, talk about teaching, and use English as a professional?
The Transform English Project is a calm, supportive professional space for English and CLIL teachers who already speak English well, but rarely get the space to use it for themselves.
It’s not a typical language course. And it’s not traditional professional development.
It’s a place where:
English, professional thinking and self-confidence grow together
teachers share ideas, experiences, and perspectives
conversation feels natural, not performative
you become more aware of the English you already use every day
“It's helped me reconnect with my English.”
— Beatrice Longhi, primary school teacher
One project. Two ways to take part.
The Transform English Project brings together English and CLIL teachers working wth young learners who want to keep using their English while growing professionally.
You can join the year-round Community, with regular opportunities to meet other teachers, share ideas, attend events and reflect on your teaching in English.
You can also choose to join a Project, working with me and a small group of teachers to grow your teaching through live conversations, personalised language feedback and practical challenges.
A community to return to all year
Between lessons, planning, meetings and everything else school life brings, it's easy for your own English and professional development to slip quietly down the priority list.
The Transform English Community gives you a reason to make time for both. It’s a place to reconnect with your English, reflect on your teaching, trust your instincts and share ideas with teachers who understand the challenges you face every day.
As part of the community you can:
join monthly live events to keep your English active and your teaching fresh throughout the school year
take part in small peer conversation pods with other teachers who understand your day-to-day challenges
share ideas, successes and challenges with a supportive community of teachers
stay connected throughout the year in our private online community
enjoy priority booking and discounted access to projects and special events
“I met you, I had a brief conversation with you, and when I saw you were organising this I thought ‘I have to take part, I know this is going to be valuable’.”
— Raffaella Romano, secondary school teacher
Keep growing, one project at a time
Joining a project gives you the space to step out of the busyness of everyday teaching and make time for something that's often missing: the chance to stop, think, experiment, share ideas and grow alongside other teachers, so you can notice what works and make confident changes in your own classroom.
Along the way, you'll be strengthening your English naturally through bite-sized videos, live conversation lessons with me, personalised language feedback and practical challenges that help new ideas become lasting habits.
Your project also includes access to a private message group as well as the Transform English Community, giving you even more opportunities to use your English and share ideas while you're taking part.
Imagine this...
It’s Tuesday. You’ve had a full-on day at school, but that evening you have a conversation session to look forward to. You join a small group of teachers, share ideas and experiences, and use English naturally with people who understand your world.
A few days later, your personalised feedback arrives. You notice the expressions you rely on, discover more natural ways to say what you mean and become more aware of your own English every time you speak.
“Sometimes I’m having a bad day, but then I’ve got the conversation session to look forward to.”
— Beatrice Longhi, primary school teacher
Project themes
Each project explores a different theme, helping you notice what works, trust your instincts and keep growing as a teacher.
Projects and participation
Autumn 2026You probably already have lots of the pieces. This project gives you the time and space to join the dots, and design meaningful classroom projects that get your learners thinking, talking and using English with real purpose.
Confident communicators
Coming soonWe all know speaking matters. Together we’ll reflect on how communication really happens in your classroom, helping every learner find their voice through purposeful talk and meaningful interaction.
Scaffolding for inclusion
Coming soonScaffolding sits behind almost everything we do as teachers. But how often do we really stop and think about the difference it makes? We'll explore the small changes that can have a lasting impact on confidence, independence and learning.
“I used to just set up groups. Now I know how to support them better with scaffolding.”
— Beatrice Longhi, primary school teacher
“It's not just a conversation, there’s a specific aim.”
— Teresa de Nitto, secondary school teacher

— Luisa Lazzarini, early years teacher
Why I created the Transform English Project
I've been working with English and CLIL teachers for many years now, and one thing kept coming up.
Teachers would ask if I offered private lessons. They wanted to keep using English after a training course had finished.
That made me realise something.
It's not that teachers are looking for more grammar or more vocabulary. They already do a fantastic job in English every day. What they're missing is a space where they can use English professionally, reflect on their teaching and have conversations with other teachers who understand their world.
I'm a teacher too, and I know how easy it is to get caught up in the busyness of school life. We don't often get the chance to step back, reflect with other teachers or simply talk about teaching in English.
That's why I created the Transform English Project.
A professional, supportive space where English and teaching come together naturally. A place to keep growing, reconnect with your English and discover new ways of thinking about your classroom alongside other teachers.
I'd love you to be part of it.
Catherine
“‘Talking about teaching is my cup of tea.”
— Luisa Lazzarini, early years teacher
“There is always an advantage when you talk about methodologies, but when you do that in English it's really an added value.”
— Teresa de Nitto, secondary school teacher
